  1. Blending paths with Width profiles works wrong

    Create two lines.
Apply width profiles to both of them.
    Blend them.
Ai will generate steps that have uniform profiles instead of intermediate.

    Hi,

Based on the information provided by Margaret in the last comment, the issue is not specific to Illustrator but related to Astute's Dynamic Sketch tool. Thus closing the issue for now.

    Warm regards,

    Aishwarya G Gadodia

  2. With 'Use Preview Bounds' enabled, resizing an object would instantly jump to geometric bounds, while the bounding box hugs preview bounds

When 'Use Preview Bounds' option is enabled, Illustrator included strokes of the selection into the bounding box.
However, if we try to resize a selection, Ai would make the object suddenly larger, as if the option to respects preview bounds is disabled — take a look at the GIF attached.

If we also enable the 'Scale Strokes & Effects' (not shown), we can somewhat understand, why the team chose to do this — if the preview bounds were used to resize with both options enabled, we would get the selection move slightly to respect the scaling of the stroke... but…

  3. Stroke appears to have Brush applied with no actual Brush

When I am in ANY artboard, I draw a .0139" x .0139" OR 1px x 1px square to center my artboard. I zoom in to as far as I can to then pull my ruler from top left to center the artwork on the page.

    2 things,
1 the square (1px x 1px) appears to have a brush stroke on it as it does NOT

    AND

I cannot pull the centering tool (in ruler, Ctl-R ) onto my artboard to then center the coordinates.

  4. Bug with stroke

Hello! I got a bug. When you copy a shape to a new artboard, a stroke appears that cannot be deleted. It is superimposed over the usual stroke. And when you remove the fill and stroke, it remains. The same when reinstalling the program, this problem remains in this file.
P.S. I worked in the latest version of illustrator

The top layer has an additional BLACK stroke applied that’s why the WHITE stroke on the artwork is not displayed. Please select Layer 1 from Layers panel and then from Appearance panel remove the Stroke.

    Hope it helps.

    Thanks & Regards,

  6. I can't change stroke colour after I used the shape builder tool

After using the shape building tool to combine shapes together to create a specific shape and change the stroke to a colour with a specific stroke weight then later when I try to change the stroke colour it does nothing, it show up different when it's in isolation mode though. I've tried to add a thicker stroke line and that shows the new colour I've chosen behind the first colour so the shape developed two stroke colours in one and I have no idea how to fix it, even if I copy and paste the shape then try to change…
