hey Jason, Adobe no longer maintains their iOS products since probably 4-5 years ago. the raise of AI has also changed her focus. there are dozens of essential tools requested by thousands, never implemented. I switched to affinity designer and affinity photo on iOS maybe 2 years ago and it was probably one the best decisions I've ever made. all the tools you are missing right at your pencil tip. fantastic team behind it. game changer. try it, they have free trials and the cost is lifetime approx. $100-$200 for then entire suite (including publisher) for macOS and iOS. no more insane expensive subscriptions per month. it will take you maybe 2 weeks max to get use to it and once you do, mars is the limit ;) hope it helps, its heart breaking seeing so many people still waiting for adobe to listen to them...

for the love of god, I've been waiting five years or more for adobe to add what seems to be a rudimentary feature, it is past time adobe, you need to do better!

I need this option in order to make illustrator for iPad an even remotely viable option for the work I do. Please adobe!

To create even outlined or bordered text on illustrator, I’ve seen users do this on desktop and would like the ability to do it on iPad

hey guys in terms of essential or new features added to illustrator on ipad, i would encourage you to go back in time to say when was the last version released by adobe with any improvement at all. you’d be surprised to see that for at least 3 years nothing has been added to it. and i am afraid nothing will be. adobe has other priorities and has no resources dedicated to illustrator on ipad. we switched to affinity - no subscription model following millions of other users and cannot be happier. everything you need is already there and new improvements are released on a ~3 months basis.

People have been asking for years. When will the offset path feature in the iPad be available?

Why do we not have this yet?…how is the iPad version so lacking, when it’s more powerful than my MacBook Pro Intel

Please create an Offset Path option for illustrator iPad. People have been asking for this for years! And also a path smoothing option after the fact. I need to be able to go over existing lines and make them smooth. People have also been asking for this feature for years!

Absolutely insane that this feature is not included for iPad. Such a standard function to omit and is paramount to so many people’s work.

Critical for creating files for engraving or precision drawing. I’m amazed this hasn’t been implemented yet.

The Expand / Offset path tool is paramount to my work for precision in drafting leather work patterns. I bought an iPad so that I could do my work more freely when I didn't have the space to take my laptop with me. I'm honestly surprised that this feature has not been included on the app. Most people I know use this program for precision drawing for fashion flats, pattern drafting or scale vectors, I feel that this feature is essential.

Adding the Expand all/Expand and Offset options for iPad would significantly improve my workflow! Please implement this.
The options to Unite and Merge would be great, too

How is this not already implemented?
Considering the fees associated with all adobe products I would have thought a lot more time and effort would go into development. The iOS version of most adobe apps are extremely lacking and for no realistic reason, iPads are more than capable of utilising 99% of the capabilities the desktop versions run.
Why of all things is offsetting a path not a priority or already offered?
