Need to add the Area Type Tool

I’d love to have the area type tool and other type functions from the desktop version added to the iPads version. I do a lot of work with a placed photo and type that flows around it. On the iPad I have to make multiple text containers instead of a vector shape for the text to flow within.

    To me this was one of the fundamental features of Illustrator or anything like it. Absolutely baffling that it’s STILL not there?!
