Cursor doesn't show correct tool
In the most recent update of Illustrator when you hit "V" or "X" or any keyboard key the curser is supposed to switch to that icon. It often does not. It just remains what ever was the last cursor selection until several clicks have been made.

@Andrew - Are you seeing this issue in Illustrator Beta build or Illustrator released version (30.8.2)? Also, is the issue consistent for you and does it persist even after a relaunch? We are not able to see this issue at our end.
