   Hi friends! I have some great news for your today. Rotate View (Canvas) feature is available in Illustrator 25.3 (Desktop) now. Thank you all for your feedback which helped us shape up this feature.

   After using Adobe products consistently (but I sure loved Macromedia Freehand!) for 25 years, I just downloaded Affinity Designer. This thread is PRECISELY why.

   I can't even imagine the nightmare of switching, but I'm going to at least have a look.

   No artboard rotation in an illustration application? "Picking it up shortly" and silence for three years? Monthly fees and I don't own the software. Might be time to make the switch.
