   The way to rename layers is to flick the layer name in the layers panel to the left and click on ‘T’ icon to rename the layer.

   Flick the name in the layers palette to the left, then click the 'T' icon to rename. It's worth watching the videos that come with the app, a lot of the questions people are asking, are answered in them.
