    This probably belongs in Feature Request, but it's as debilitating as a bug that needs fixing, so here it is:

    While I understand the use of a zoom to selection function, don't make it the default and please give it a check box to turn on and off.

    As a daily user of adobe products in the design/prepress industry for the last 12 years this is yet another failed attempt at improving the software for the average user while sacrificing usability and function for the true nuts and bolts professionals. It impairs workflow and drastically reduces efficiency.

    Cmd +/- should zoom as it always has. Zoom to selection should either be it's own shortcut or it should be a feature one has the ability to turn on or off.
