    Still have the same problem on the 26.2 beta.
    I have a 2 monitor setup with my windows desktop, one is 4k, the other 1080p. The problem exists on both screens but maybe having one 4k screen plugged in makes the problem happen no matter which moniter illustrator is on.

    This is probably not very helpful but I did notice is that there is no problem if it is a blank document with not a single graphic on it.

    I just thought that I would add another voice to this. The problem is back in version 26.1 I hope it gets fixed soon. Slows me down every single day.

    I have the same issue on windows 10. Illustrator v 26.0. I was doing a grid every 1 mm. Once the grid was visible, any move I made would make it freeze for about 10 minutes.
