    Hi Egor, Guys,

    I attached JPG preview of both lasso tool buttons, present in AI9 & 10 (some other maybe also). I hope it will be visible for you as I'm attaching into this forum for the fitst time :)

    The difference is like selecting anchor points or complete objects.

    Egor, your solution is brilliant and works! (I checked few scenarios only so need to dig)
    Adobe team: ... however it would be more efficient not to use workaround each time!

    Back in AI10 there was DIrect lasso and Lasso.
    Now only Direct lasso is in toolbox. Or is there a way to access "normal" lasso - when wanting to select full objects instead of just anchor points which is not the same?

  2. Document unit preferences saved within AI file (type, dimensions, outline).
