    Please share some test files with the team, so they can finally reproduce this and investigate. Send both the .ai file that looks bug when linked along with the .innd document that has it as a link (along with the full specs of your computer and Ai and InD versions) to sharewithai@adobe.com (also please mention the the link to this report for faster backtracking, https://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/601447/suggestions/32832622)

    Having the same issue, super annoying and time-consuming. I want to be able to see the in-progress image in InDesign without the hidden layer, but don't want to delete the layer since I'm still referencing it while working. Kind of defeating half the utility of live linking.
