    There are now several separate requests made, based on the feedback in this thread:

    1. Regarding adjustable color and opacity for 3D shadows:

    All those who commented on the topic until October 16, 2023, are already added as voters there. If this is something you want to have for 3D and Materials in Illustrator — please upvote it. If possible — create new requests and bug reports about 3D, rather than commenting here inside. This will help the team to better prioritize efforts on making the feature better.     Want the option to get vectors out of the shape im doing so I can make a vector based version of the 3d object. There's no need at all to use 3d in illustrator if you cant get the vectors, there are a lot of other apps that handle 3d better so the advantage Adobe illustrator would have is of course the vector nodes.

    Make a bottle in 3d, now choose how many nodes i want, got em. now ill make a really nice vector bottle. done.
