    There are now several separate requests made, based on the feedback in this thread:

    1. Regarding adjustable color and opacity for 3D shadows:

    All those who commented on the topic until October 16, 2023, are already added as voters there. If this is something you want to have for 3D and Materials in Illustrator — please upvote it. If possible — create new requests and bug reports about 3D, rather than commenting here inside. This will help the team to better prioritize efforts on making the feature better.     Ilustrators new 3D functionality sucks. Please fix it asap. Its costing me time and money.

    I dont understand why the new 3D functionality sucks. When I tried to increase the depth on the extrude filter, it doesn't apply what I'm trying to accomplish. Can this be fixed???

    I did the EXTRUDE effect on a text font. When I tried to work the Bevel effects, that's when the software started acting funny. I found that when working with 3D, I need to resize the image before adding the 3D effect. That has seemed to help so far.

    It takes forever to edit a design after applying the lighting effect. Please fix it asap. The design should not have to render after every single movement you make. It makes you not want to use the lighting effect.
