    Illustrator team is working on a fix for this issue. Meanwhile you can use the below workaround to paste the table as it was before.


    Before you copy the table in InDesign, create a path object along with table and then copy from InDesign and Paste in Illustrator. This forces the PDF route for copy/paste between ID and AI

    This is pretty game-breaking for me as I make dozens of tables in InDesign and paste to Illustrator for work every month. I desperately need a work-around if anyone knows of one.
