    All those who commented on the topic until October 16, 2023, are already added as voters there. If this is something you want to have for 3D and Materials in Illustrator — please upvote it. If possible — create new requests and bug reports about 3D, rather than commenting here inside. This will help the team to better prioritize efforts on making the feature better.     Excessively CPU/memory intensive, on a relatively high-end speedy machine! Developers should implement some internal caching. When I switch back and forth between views, I return back to things that were previously rendered a few seconds ago. These should have been cached! However, instead the system re-renders the same image, so I literally have to wait more than a minute to see the same thing that was rendered before.

    Please. Just put the raster image in temporary memory. More intelligent caching please!
