I make seamless patterns in Illustrator for IPAD, and we need a move tool just like in the desktop app. When I want to move an object on the artboard to line up objects along the other edge of the artboard, I can’t move it exactly where I need it to be. For example, my artboard might be 9 inches by 9 inches. It would be nice if ILLUSTRATOR IPAD made it so that I can use the object’s current position, and add the distance I would like to move it (such as 0.985 + 9) on the x or y axis. This allows me to line up my objects along the edge where my pattern repeats. If my object is at 0.985 on the x axis, but I want to move it 9 inches over to the other edge, there needs to be a tool that allows me to add 0.985 to 9, submit, and move my object to align exactly on the edge of my board.
