    Illustrator is preventing the computer from going into suspend mode because it appears to be using an audio stream:

    powercfg /requests

    ...
    SYSTEM:
    [DRIVER] USB Audio Device (USB\VID_0C76&PID_160C&MI_00\a&209af69e&0&0000)
