Please introduce angular gradient (conic gradient) support in Illustrator’s gradient tool. This would allow for more diverse and creative gradient effects, which are already available in other design tools.Why is this valuable to you?
Angular gradients are widely used in modern design. Not having this option in Illustrator means I have to use workarounds or other software, which is time-consuming. Adding this feature would greatly improve efficiency and creative flexibility for myself and many other designers. -

Skeuomorphic effects are still important in industrial, branding, and product design. Illustrator’s precision is unmatched, but its current workflow for these effects is not convenient. Many professionals in my network have the same need, and this improvement would make Illustrator even more powerful for our daily work. -

Please add both inner and outer shadow, as well as inner and outer glow effects to Illustrator’s appearance panel, similar to Photoshop. This would make it much easier to create skeuomorphic and layered effects.Why is this valuable to you?
Currently, achieving these effects requires stacking multiple appearances, which is cumbersome. Many designers, including myself and my colleagues in the industry, need precise control and convenient tools for creating these effects directly in Illustrator. -

Please add background blur and progressive blur options to Illustrator’s appearance settings, similar to what Figma offers. These features make it much easier to create modern, visually appealing designs directly within Illustrator.Why is this valuable to you?
As a designer, I often need to create soft and layered visual effects. Currently, I have to switch to other tools like Figma for these effects, which disrupts my workflow. Adding these blur effects would help me and many other designers stay within Illustrator for all our design needs.
