  1. Please revert to data recovery files being saved as .ai files instead of .aishm files that can't be opened.

    Previously, Illustrator generated .aid files for recovery, but in the latest version, the program now uses the .aishm format. Unfortunately, the new .aishm file format does not work reliably in many cases. After a crash, Illustrator either fails to open the .aishm file or presents an empty, corrupted, or unusable document. This makes the recovery process highly unreliable, leading to potential data loss. I am extremely frustrated.
