  1. Issue saving document on hard drive after creating a pattern swatch, file won't save or AI crashes. Cloud document saves fine!

    Absolutely! I just tried to save the original file again and it crashed ha. I'll email the file to the address below. Thanks!

    I created a new pattern in a new file using the AI tool, added it to swatches, and the file saved just fine to my hard drive. I created a second pattern with just a basic rectangle shape - object > pattern > make, saved to swatches, and that one saved fine as well in the new file. My original pattern was based off a logo and now I'm wondering if my source file is the problem. I copy and pasted the logo into the new file, made the pattern again, and it seemed to save this time. I still don't know what the original problem was but at least it's working in the new file.

    I did not try using this feature before the 29.5.1 release so I am not sure! I could re-install an older version to see if there is a difference and will also test the pattern defaults in a new file.
