I really need the iPad version to have the same features/UI as the Mac version because the former's current setup is very inconvenient for new users as well as students who use a Mac on a school campus, but use an iPad when working on a project at home. I wouldn't mind if this takes up a lot of space once updated with the full features. If, as Egor Chistyakov commented on 1/6/2024, "the goal for the Illustrator on the iPad was never to replicate the desktop experience," then why does Ai/iPad have such a small array of UI/editing choices when students like me need to maximize it (like on the Mac version) to create an effective vector artwork for an assignment(s)?

I know that putting every single bit of the Mac version's features onto the iPad may take up quite a bit of space, but I think that it will be worth it, as long as digital art students like me get to have the full experience while working on projects at home.

I just started using Adobe Illustrator for my Digital Art class in college, and I noticed a very big difference in the number of features between the Mac and iPad versions. Mac has a whole array of features to use for a project, while iPad only has (based on my observation so far) less than half of them. The iPad version needs to have the same amount of features as the Mac version so that it is convenient for users to switch between the two without having to worry about the minimalist nature of the former and having to accomodate for the lack of tools needed for a specific project. It gets irritating when a user like me has an art class that requires and utilizes the app on a Mac while on campus and an iPad (if you don't have a compatible Windows laptop) for homework.
