    When you create a new document, there are countless colors in the Swatches palette.
    I have to delete them every time because I define my colors myself and otherwise I lose track.
    It would be great if there was a quick way to change this once and for all in the Preferences.

  2. Convert expanded strokes back to live strokes (unexpand / unoutline strokes) / Find centerlines

    It would be great to be able to convert a hand-drawn pencil sketch—after scanning and importing it into Illustrator—into an editable vector line. It needs to be a centerline rather than an outline. I haven't found a practical way to do this.
