    This one drove me nuts.
    White screen on any file. Adobe appears to locked up. Kill in task menu.
    It was stupidly simple.
    When you open any file, it throws a modal message box down in the lower right-hand corner (for me) that says something like "we detected a touch screen - switch mode?" and yes/no buttons. The dialog needed to be resolved before the file opened.

    I could just barely see the title bar of the message. I grabbed it, moved it to the center, hit OK and boom! File opened.
