Absolutely. Nothing less than a full free rotation of the art board at any angle should be accepted.... Hence the name ILLUSTRATOR. Draw on paper and only rotate 90 degrees. Let us know how helpful that is.

At this point I'll try anything. Affinity Designer here I come. Adobe wants us to rent their software and act like slum lords as they neglect some of the most sought after and NECESSARY feature requests. Unacceptable.

Absolutely. I actually have called to inquire about this and the customer service rep said "we'll be updating that feature request thread as soon as possible." Very similar to "We'll be picking it up shortly." Got it. Thanks Adobe.

This should be a default feature considering it's the "industry standard" illustration application. Affinity Designer has this currently implemented. Thanks Adobe, for keeping us updated on the status of this feature request. Your customer service SUCKS.

Absolutely agree. They have no sense of urgency to implement art board rotation anytime soon. Affinity Designer already has this feature and at a much more competitive price point. Also running really good deals right now. https://affinity.serif.com/en-us/designer/

We have to believe they are incapable of implementing this feature based on lack of updates or acknowledgment. Which is very concerning being that they are "industry standard". It goes to show exactly how they feel about their loyal customers who pay overpriced monthly subscriptions. Actions speak louder than words.

Hey Adobe I don't design on any mobile apps along with thousands of other designers. How are we forgetting the original client base that only uses desktop applications? And, if the desktop applications are going to be secondary focus how about decreasing the monthly rate vs raising it?

"Industry standard" illustration app doesn't let you rotate the artboard. Mind-boggling. When you illustrate on paper you ROTATE to accommodate stroke angle & workflow. Please, everyone, share this thread.

Haha okay Ben. You must be friends with Yogesh. 8 years for the 2nd highest requested feature is laughable. It's called abode "illustrator". When you illustrate on paper you rotate when necessary. Should have been implemented about 8 years ago IMO.
