   Illustrator allows option to Simulate Color Paper, whereby user can pick any color as the background. (This is accessible from File -> Document Setup)

   Choosing a specific exported PNG background color could be really helpful for some of the UI designer. Specially for the ones who work with non transparency supporting environments.
