1.Details of your operating system and version of Adobe Illustrator:
I'm working on a proper windows workstation, Illustrator version 2018 (22.1)
2.The steps you were taking when you experienced the issues:
Importing a DXF file from Solidworks, editing this and exporting it in DXF again. When importing and exporting I made sure to select the 'mm' option in the units drop-down menu.
3.Your expected result:
A DXF file still in de mm units
4.Your actual result:
A DXF file in imperial (inch) units. All my files are laser-cut 25,4 times too big.
When I open in Illustrator you can select units so you cannot see the problem. When opening in a different program with no unit selection in the import options it will open in inches by default.
And when I open the file directly from Solidworks (not import and export in AI) It will not have this unit problem.
