We have done further updates to Dimension tool with recently released version - 28.3
You can create and use your custom scale for dimension, hide or show units on dimensions and dimensions are now sticky to the object - they transform as well when you transform the object.
An error occurred while saving the comment An error occurred while saving the comment I'm a state school teacher, we pay for Ai site licences from our very limited resources. Ai is great but unfortunately we need to use, teach and pay for other software for dimensions which I use to get from CorelDrawV11 way back in the nineties. Plug ins are not an option given price and our network controls. We'd like basic functionality - L x W, centres, distance between centres, angles, radii, true length, quick areas etc. Simple stuff given all the other bells and whistles Ai offers but which I don't use. Thank you.

An error occurred while saving the comment This would be great, really useful. Please add the 'true length' (path length) from object properties too.
Plus add millimeters depth to 3D rather than only points.
Please, please, please … add dimensioning, it’s been soooooo long now !
