    Hi everyone,
Marat just uploaded his latest version of fast_relink script. You could download it from the link bellow:
    https://github.com/dumbm1/ai_scripts/blob/master/ord/fastRelink/fast_relink.jsx
Many thanks again for Marat's effort.
    Yours,
    Claudiu

    Hi Benoit,

The last version (1.1.0) have comments in english and it's compatible with Illustrator CC 2020.
I'll ask Marat to upload the script to his github account. I'll also ask him to give me the permission to distribute his script here.

    Have a great day,
    Yours,
    Claudiu

    Hi Brent,

I use to have the same problem. Marat Shagiev solve this problem by writing a .jsx script (FastRelink). I already have tested the script and it works just fine. Marat Shagiev is a very dedicated and kind person. Check this out with him at https://github.com/dumbm1

    Have a nice day,
    Yours,
    Claudiu

This is finally available in Beta 30.6.0.75

When you replace a linked image in Illustrator, you can now choose to apply that change everywhere the image appears in your file (even across multiple artboards and repeated layouts).

    How in works:

    1. Select one or more links in the Links panel and click Relink
    2. In the file picker, note the 'Replace:' dropdown below the options
    3. Choose 'All Links (N)' to replace every instance of that file in the document
    4. Choose 'Selected Links (N)' to replace only the instances you selected
    5. Pick the replacement file and click Place

Try it and leave a comment if it works and it works like you need it to.

Also, please don’t forget to upvote this request if you are interested — Display copies of links' duplicates as instances, like in InDesign

2020 version Preferences - Units go back to "points".
Extremely annoying. Working with structural design files. When I have to open 20 files for an object, I always have to change the units back to mm. This is a major error of a very basic setting in my opinion.
I'm just saying, because I'm sure that no one will take any action in order to fix this.
