There should be a way to link an artboard from a file in a CC Library as you can do when linking from a local file.

Make it possible to actually open Cloud Docs....
The idea of cloud docs is wonderful, but the reality is intensely frustrating.
File created in the studio; a simple text logo. Retun home need to make a change. Impossible to open.
"Make file available offline" Done. Still impossible to open.
Identical version of Illustrator on both Macs. Multiple occurrences. It has happened in reverse too
Workaround > Store files on a disk. Transfer manually. (Not what Adobe want to hear!)
I should add that this a a regular problem on PS too, so a broader Creative Cloud, issue. Oh and the internet connection is Gigabit, so not a speed…

Recently Added Items
Hi. My name is Reza Alavi, Design Manager in XBOX design studio Microsoft. We use Adobe Illustrator as our base software for illustration and we recently started using the cloud library which is really great. However we have a suggestion to add a feature that might help us a lot. It would be awesome to have a view of libraries of "recently added items"
Right now there is a filter for "date modified" but it's not clear what items were added/modified, just a resorting of the library lists.
This would help us to know what new items are added recently…

Content of Library assets do not show in Outline Mode
The content (paths, type, etc.) of Library assets do not shot in Outline Mode (CMD+Y).
This makes them difficult/impossible to work with precisely or in complicated artwork.

Allow for graphics placed from CC Library to be expanded and converted to curves
Right now, when you place a vector from the CC Library, you can't use it as if it were a vector created on the spot. This hinders speed of creation and prevents 2 crucial things:
- You can't change colors of the vector without editing the original CC item
- You can't use it with pathfinder for a print job for example (imagine you want to cut a shape out of PVC or something). Right now, to do this, you must double click the library item, copy and paste it on your document.

However, please note a PDF-copy of an asset is used, and not the original artwork you had imported into a Library, which means the embedded copy can have extra clipping masks and expanded effects.

Library disappear glitch
Had this issue in the past and it still comes up. Libraries disappear from my workspace when I click tab or some combination of keys that I'm not sure of. Before, I used to have to shut down Ai altogether but at least now I can go to the drop down menu to retrieve them. This shouldn't happen in the first place though.

Sort out functionality of library assets
Seems a lot of people are struggling with Library assets for various reasons. I think this feature is massively under developed for what should be a great strength across Adobe applications. I still have Illustrator V17 in use as the Library works better than the current version for me, so my subscription is wasted money. I've complained before but to no avail. I create many line drawings with common line segments, so I drag these in from the Library, which creates consistency and should be time saving. Improving creative cloud library by making it possible to transform a symbole from the cloud library in 1 document
I'm working for a company who makes workwear and we're having an issue with the creative cloud library.
We've made al of these symbols in the creative cloud libraries, but we've seen that we can't manipulate these in 1 document.
For example, we're making a coat.
First we take the front out of the library, then te sleeves and a pocket.
We see that it is impossible to change these objects in this new document.
These drawings from the library are added in the document like pictures, that's why we can't colour them for example.

Please included library "groups" when sharing library. When shared everything is appearing ungrouped. A problem on large projects.
When I go to creative cloud and view my shared library, I expect to see it organized they way I have organized it in illustrator. I have organized it in a way that makes it easy for my team to find what they need. Currently when I share my library everything is appearing ungrouped which is a problem. I'm attaching the number of groups that I have in my shared library as an example and a screen capture from creative cloud. Keeping same values as original files (ai)
Working on repetitive files with slight copy change is nice to store in the libraries. I enjoy the quick and easy access to the files. But they do not retain the same value as originally dragged into the libraries. The measurements are converted to pixels. The bleed and art board values are consolidated. It would be nice to store all values from AI into the libraries.

Add multiple fills to a CC Library at once.
I think it would be really nice if you could select multiple shapes and add their separate fills into a CC Library. Helpful when making color palettes and things.

Create new Library from document like Photoshop
I have a file that has 124 individually named artboards (each containing 1 icon), and was looking for a faster way to add these icons (with their appropriate names) to a library, rather than having to drag each one from their artboard to the library panel, and then have to rename each one (again). Photoshop offers this capability

Asset name focus after dragging asset to cc library panel
I create a lot of Creative Cloud library assets, usually by dragging vectors from my canvas directly onto the Libraries panel. I like to immediately name my assets, so it would be a huge time-saver if, once an asset had been successfully dragged, the "name" field got focus. As is, I need to mouse over to the panel and double-click to rename.

CC subfolders not visible when opening files
Currently if you organise AI. iles into project folders within your local CC folder, these subfolders aren't visible when opening in AI. Libraries offers the ability to categorise assets / files into project folders that are visible making it super easy to find specific files. I know there is a search feature but, with hundreds of assets, being able to have multi level folder structure visible when opening AI files from local CC folder would be awesome.

Library doesn't fully sync out of Capture
I was told to put my concerns and ideas here although my frustration is mostly with libraries and the capture app capture is super cool for all of its features but the app was created specifically so that you could use those features and the library Assets in other programs my library assets won't save past about 200 and I've already created thousands, inc fun brushes i want to share, teach, but cant save or recreate so now I'm stuck. it's a cool app you should support it better and fix the glitches: export doesn't work, libraries don't work completely…
