Margins!
I would love a margin option! I always use rulers to set up margins but it'd be great to have margins in the document setup settings.

It would be helpful to have a "Margins" feature in Adobe Illustrator, similar to the one available in InDesign. This would allow users to define inner margins for documents directly within the Document Setup panel.
Currently, creating margins in Illustrator requires manually adding guides, which is time-consuming and less efficient, especially for projects like layouts, print designs, or other document-based workflows. A built-in margin feature would streamline the workflow and make Illustrator even more versatile for print-oriented work.
Please consider adding this feature to enhance usability and consistency between Adobe products!

Can you add a safety margin in the same way as there is the ability to add a bleed guide? Like it has in InDesign

Improving the performance, the Zoom (never enough), the precision of the snap, snap to curves and paths, to be a vector drawing software is rather inaccurate.
Couldn't we add all the vector parts to INDESIGN and throw Illustrator? We will eliminate steps and awkward software like AI.

We're able to set up bleed margins, it would only make sense to also set up page margins.

I come from the future, and this hasn't been implemented yet

Margins are such an important for of making posters and other graphic design related things, it would be great having this option in illustrator.
Happy that Indesign has this, but illustrator is often used for projects that have these very same needs, but I'm left with making the margins myself every time.

How about creating margins?

Every document I create starts with marking off the live area. This would save a TON of time.
