Layers, absolutely, and more control over which buttons can be accessed from the touch interface in general. The touch interface is barely usable.

please please at least give us layers and ability to change brush OR give us an undo button in the other workspaces. The touch workspace is even more limited than Adobe Sketch on iPad and is pretty painful to use on a Windows 10 machine in tablet mode with windows ink. The choice of undo button in touch vs layers and brushes in another workspace is painful. I really need all 3 in one space.

It's such a task to be switching from touch workspace to my regular workspace simply to change the layer I'm working on as well as to use a custom brush. I think the touch workspace needs an upgrade! There are many artists (including myself) who love Illustrator and love using active pens to draw.
There is still a lot more room in the workspace for additional features. I think the size of the tool icons is a bit too big, they can be resized and the features we need can be added! Make it better for us! -
