Adobe CC Library Dropdown Categories and Groups
Adobe CC Library Dropdown Categories and Groups + Backup
Categories - I work for a large company, and while I LOVE the libraries, I hate scrolling. I'd love to be able to categorize them; for example, "Branding," "Imagery," "Products," "Stock," "Case Studies," "Creative" to cut down on the mega scroll effect.
Groups - Reiterating what another user said, group folders WITHIN the libraries would be very useful for one-off clients (or product launches) where you need to have lots of information in one library collection.
Backup - We need to be able to backup these libraries or have history restore points in case the library is accidentally deleted or an admin overrides a linked file.

In response to Mark Nicoll - then a 'order by visually similar' feature would be useful, am I right or am I right - back me up here guys!

I fully agree that backing up libraries is essential. Without this, relying on libraries in ones workflow is a big risk. My preferred solution to this would be for Adobe to connect CC Libraries with CC files, enabling you to sync between the two, locally and on the cloud. The potential benefits of this are massive. There's a prominent feature request for this already...
I'm on the fence about groups and categories though. What would the interface for that look lik? At the moment we just give each library item a long name according to a naming convention, and then use the search feature to retrieve stuff. Mostly it works fine. But we have thousands of certain types of item (eg. figures, icons, buildings) which can make finding certain specific things tricky. Hmm.
I think tags/keywords for each item could be a good idea though.
