Switch between pages without a save and close
I edit massive amounts of business cards. They are saved as two page documents. They are easiest to edit in Illustrator and I haven't found a way to switch between pages without saving and closing and reopening. I would like to switch between pages of a document to edit illustrator type artwork within these documents.

Heather, I know it’s been 5 years since you requested this...
But can you please elaborate on this: as I understand it, you have (or had) your business cards in PDF files (that's why you said 'pages' and not 'artboards', I presume). And the problem you were having was in the way Illustrator used to read back these PDFs, right? Most times it’s 'importing', not 'opening', unless a PDF is made within Ai, with the compatibility option turned on.
But now Illustrator allows to import PDFs as a linked pages, all at once. Doe it really help you with this task? Please reply.
