Expanding scatter brush without boxes
When I create a scatter brush of random circles and then expand the appearance, it creates outlines of all the circles, but also adds in a box around each circle. When I 'Unite' the shapes the boxes are included and there are too many to have to go in and delete the boxes manually.

Expand appearance of the scatter brush path and un-group. With all circles still selected, go to menu bar<Object<Path<Clean Up... and make sure the "Unpainted Objects" box is checked. Hidden squares should now be deleted.
