Add trackpad / touchpad support for Windows / Surface devices (zoom, diagonal scroll, etc.)
Windows Surface Book trackpads have little to no gesture support. It's incredibly annoying. Please add pinch to zoom, two finger scrolling, etc.. The same functionality you would expect on a macbook would be great.

Still nothing at the moment. A lot of app on windows use the precision trackpad succesfully. Not Adobe. FIX IT FFS!

Same with HP Envy

AFAIK this is delayed because of some Microsoft-ish technical reasons :( Let’s hope the good will eventually win.

As someone who just switched from Mac to Windows, it's incredibly frustrating not to be able to zoom with a pinch or even to scroll diagonally.

Is it so hard to make the same smart touch pad features that’s already available on Macbooks, available also on Windows? Like there’s literally more windows users than mac users and all of the new windows laptops have the precious keyboards that allow for pinch to zoom and other smart gestures. It can’t be that hard of a change to implement like c’mon! All I’m asking is to be able to pinch to zoom on my touch pad and have 360 movement with my double finger dragging! On a WINDOWS computer!!! How the heck have y’all not fixed this yet? We’ve been complaining since like 2018!

Same gestures as on Mac should be on windows (now that its possible to zoom in and out on a lot of applications in windows 10) - like pinch to zoom and pan

Gestures on the touchpad are currently not supported in nearly all Adobe CC Apps, Illustrator being one of them.
On Windows 10, there is no way to scroll diagonally on a touchpad, nor can you use a "pinch to zoom (in/out)" gesture. Scrolling is limited to horizontal and vertical dimensions, there is no panning.
I'm using a Surface Book 2. With its touchscreen, I am able to use these gestures. On the touchpad however, this isn't possible.
My workflow is heavily slowed down by this. I've been using a Macbook before and all gestures were supported - why isn't that the case on Windows?
Microsoft provides precision touchpad drivers for many devices. These drivers create a great touchpad experience on any device using them. It's the way forward for Windows 10 laptops. Many programs use this, so there is no excuse why Adobe couldn't.
I would love being able to use these gestures. They would speed up everyone's workflow significantly and create an ease of use I come to expect from all of the Adobe CC Apps.
In Adobe XD, these gestures are available, although they are aren't smooth and a bit unresponsive. I'd suggest to fix those ones too.

Hello Team,
I use microsoft surface book 2 for designing and to zoom in and out from touchpad, i need to hold Alt key and zoom in/out. Please let me know, of there is a option to get rid of alt key and directly use pinch option in touchpad to zoom in/out.
Regards,

This is one of the most basic features that designers working on laptops need access to. I need to zoom, as well as pan precisely and in any direction I want with my trackpad. I have a multi thousand dollar XPS 15 4K laptop that is specifically made for designers and photographers, yet I am forced to work on my antiquated Macbook Pro from 2012 that has these basic features.

I need to be able to zoom with my trackpad on my high end XPS 15 Windows laptop. Many other programs, including Adobe programs, are capable of this. There is no reason this should not be a feature.

Can the mouse gestures be changed so that they work the same for a Mac and a PC, i.e. that the zoom in and out feature is the same on both?
