Cannot group Text objects with right-click
Illustrator CC2018 (22.1)
Windows 10 and Mac OSX High Sierra 10.13.3
When I select two or more Text objects (point, area, etc.), I cannot group them using right-click (it works
It works with other objects, or with Text and other objects, but not when all my selections are only Text objects.
Once grouped (with CMD-G for example), it is possible to ungroup them with right-click, though.

Add a shape to the text somewhere. You can make it transparent if you wish. If your going to export the text as a PNG, then crop it out in Photoshop. As long as a shape is apart of the text, it will let you group.
