The team plans to push the fix from the Beta build into the main one in first week of January — hooray!
The current workaround in 29.1 is to disable Missing Glyph Protection option in Preferences > Type.

An error occurred while saving the comment Stéphanie Noverraz commentedThanks Egor.
No, no Overprint Stroke, nor Overprint Preview.
I had the same problem with all my files, until it suddenly resolved itself after a couple hours. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
An error occurred while saving the comment Stéphanie Noverraz commentedI have no idea why or how, but it's working again. I'm totally perplexed.

I have no words, but this solution is missing again form both the latest Beta and the GA. There is no new information on it. As soon as anything gets known — the status will be updated again. I am so sorry.
An error occurred while saving the comment Stéphanie Noverraz commentedTon,
but there used to be something similar before this version, right? I've always been able to replace the missing links automatically in the past, as long as they were in the same folder. ^_^
An error occurred while saving the comment Stéphanie Noverraz commentedThanks so much Ton.
I have no idea how this box became unchecked!An error occurred while saving the comment Stéphanie Noverraz commentedJust to make things clear, "Apply to All" or "Replace All" won't suffice.
I don't want to replace all links with the same file, I need Illustrator to find all the various linked files that I put in the Links folder.
I work on a Mac but everybody else in the company works on Windows (with a Sharepoint Cloud) and every time I reopen documents, I need to re-link all the backgrounds.

When opening files containting missing Links, I used to be able to change the path to my "Links" folder just once, and then Illustrator would re-link all the files found in that folder automatically.
For the last few weeks, I have had to re-link manually every single image, even when it's the exact same file that is found across several documents.
It's irritating. Is there something I can do?

An error occurred while saving the comment Stéphanie Noverraz commentedSometimes I mis-click on a Path with the Text tool and don't realise until it's too late (or too tedious) to undo.
It would be nice to have a way to revert the baseline to a normal Path. Unless it already exists and I haven't found it. :)

An error occurred while saving the comment Stéphanie Noverraz commentedDefinitely very important for me. ^_^
But as long as we could customise the modifier, it's no problem.An error occurred while saving the comment Stéphanie Noverraz commented(just beware that on Mac, Cmd+ left or right Arrow is used for changing Desktops, I don't know about Windows)
An error occurred while saving the comment Stéphanie Noverraz commentedAs we have the option to multiply increments by 10 with Shift + arrows (or Shirt + click, etc.), it would be nice to also have another shortcut/key to divide them by 10.

I see, just as I feared.
Thanks anyway.An error occurred while saving the comment Stéphanie Noverraz commentedSorry I couldn't attach the script file: here it is:
for (i=0; i<app.documents.length; i++)
{
var idoc = app.documents[i];
//alert("+"+idoc.path+"+");
if (idoc.path == "")
{
file = File.saveDialog ("Save file...");
idoc.saveAs (file);
}
else
{
//alert(idoc.name);
if (!idoc.saved)
{
idoc.save();
idoc.saved = true;
}
}
}An error occurred while saving the comment Stéphanie Noverraz commentedMaybe it could be placed far from the Save command then… ;-)
Here's the script I'm using (I didn't write it, I found it on a forum years ago). If I remember correctly, it used to work fine in the background before my company put all our files on OneDrive / Sharepoint.
Now when I launch it, if I go to another application while it's saving, the Illustrator icon keeps jumping in my Dock and nothing is saved until I put Illustrator back into focus.
I don't know if it has anything to do with the fact that with OneDrive / Sharepoint, I now get the warning "This file has been modified outside of Illustrator. Do you want to continue?" almost every time I want to save a file (with Cmd-S).
Thanks for your help!
An error occurred while saving the comment Stéphanie Noverraz commentedAnd I already use the Save All script that I have all the time, really (even though it's annoying to have to keep Illustrator in focus).
So in the end all it would change is that I could do something else while the files are saving. :-)
An error occurred while saving the comment Stéphanie Noverraz commentedI mean, the ideal Save All command would just save and not close the files, so you could still go back undo stuff if you change your mind.
An error occurred while saving the comment Stéphanie Noverraz commentedI'm using a script to do that. The problem is, I need to keep Illustrator in focus for it to work, and it kinds of defeats the purpose…
I've tried 2 different scripts found on the web, but it's the same problem. I think it used to work fine before my company put us all on Microsoft OneDrive, though.

An error occurred while saving the comment Stéphanie Noverraz commentedOooh that would be exactly the tool I'm looking for!
I asked on the forums for a way to dynamically add circles to the anchor points of my path, but so far, no perfect solution has been found. It's either not dynamic, or the circles get distorted, or circles are missing on acute or obtuse angles…

You can tweak the double click speed in Windows settings or disable 'Double Click To Isolate' option in Illustrator’s Preferences > General.
An error occurred while saving the comment Stéphanie Noverraz commentedThanks Egor.
Could have been that, I can't say because I'm back on a Mac now and it's working fine. :)Stéphanie Noverraz shared this idea · -

An error occurred while saving the comment Stéphanie Noverraz commentedThis is still happening in Illustrator 25.3.1 (on Mac OS Big Sur too).
Here's a video of what's happening.

"Paste Remembers Layers" has never pasted into the sublayers for me. Always in the top Layer (same Layer I copied them from, just not into the Sublayers).
I was about to ask this as a "nice to have" feature, but I see now that it should already work that way?
