Import plt (hpgl) files
I want to import plt files directly in Illustrator.
Today I have to use an online converter or import the plt file using Front Design or even CorelDraw.
This file (.plt) is generated by the Audaces program.
No even the dxf file exported by Audaces is imported by Illustrator. The Illustrator only import the code instead.

Hi. I finally got a working script to import PLT files of Audaces right to Illustrator.
Thanks to ChatGpt 5 (after a couple of months trying).
Place the Script in the correct script folder and record an Action pointing to it, allowing for quick access to the script.

As far as I know, PLT plot-files are device-depandent, therefore there is a ridiculous amount of different .plt-files, which can’t be read by anything but a specific device... Since there is no a universal format, no universal converter is possible. The same reason why Autocad doesn’t have it (does it?)
CorelDraw though is capable of producing some kind of PLTs, so it needs further diving into formats.

4 years and Illustrator don't have a decent DXF importer. It still has no support for PLT.
