Transparency modes for coloured fonts in AI (Fontself Plugin)
Hi, I'm using Fontself in Illustrator. I designed a coloured typeface, all is good so far but when I type a text, and try to apply the multiply mode in transparency when selecting the text, nothing really happens as it would happen with any normal font (please see screen capture for reference). Is there any way to integrate this feature in Illustrator, where we can adjust letters' transparency and transfer modes of coloured fonts?
Thank you

Turns out that - while transparency is supported for standard fonts but not OpenType-SVG ones - all blending modes are not supported at all, even with regular fonts: https://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/601447-illustrator-bugs/suggestions/35473129-support-transparency-blending-modes-on-any-text

There are 2 rendering bugs when applying text effects:
- Blending modes are not rendered for both regular fonts as well as OpenType-SVG fonts
- Transparency is not rendered when applied to OpenType-SVG fontsRelated to the bug request: Transparency modes for coloured fonts in AI (Fontself Plugin): https://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/333657-illustrator-feature-requests/suggestions/35328490-transparency-modes-for-coloured-fonts-in-ai-fonts

+1 for the support of blending modes with OpenType-SVG fonts ;)
