Export artboards from illustrator to a single, multi- artboard photoshop file
Export an illustrator file (with multiple artboards and layers) to photoshop (as a single, multi- artboard psd file).
Currently illustrator exports multiple, separate.psd files.
You then need to copy and paste from individual files into a multi- artboard .psd file.
If the above idea is integrated, it would make bringing screen layouts into into xd for prototyping UIs much easier.

I have an illustrator file of 300 individual price stickers for normal printing. Client also wants a Photoshop version. When there's a sudden price change for some of the stickers, they want to extract the affected ones to print on desktop printers as stop gap measure.

Yes that would be great. Now if you want to have the individual layers from Illustrator in Photoshop, you have to export each layer individually. If you paste them back into PS, they are not in the right position. They are always inserted in the middle and you have to painstakingly move the individual layer to the correct position. This is so cumbersome that I have given up on it. But actually I would like to finalize my illustrations in PS.

It would make sense if there was a simple way to export an Illustrator file with multiple Artboards into a single PSD file with that multiple Artboard structure intact. Currently, you can export Artboards from Illustrator each to their own individual PSD files, and then you have to re-copy/paste each one into a new document. This is extremely cumbersome, and also destroys bleeds and guides.

Often I create AI files with multiple artboards for creating a seamless document for presentations. Often after the presentation is made I need to break apart the file and parse out the pages to created technical fabrication details. It would help immensely if the artboards were exportable into separate single artboard AI files.
