186 votesThe team again asks for help with this issue, since there are not specific steps they can try to reproduce it — the nature of the bug is random.
If you are a Windows user, the next time you spot a missing or a duplicated number in Artboards panel, please follow these instructions below.
1. Open Task Manager
2. In Details tab, locate 'Illustrator.exe'
3. Right click it and choose 'Create dump file'
4. Wait until the dumping process is complete and click 'Open file location' button
5. Find 'Illustrator.dmp' (sorting files by date helps) and compress it with any archiving utility
6. Upload the archive to a file hosting service of your choice and sent the link for download to sharewithai@adobe.com. Please use the subject 'Artboards numbering bug dump'

An error occurred while saving the comment I had a printer asking for the AI working File after they opened the PDF of my artwork.
I checked by artwork & found that there are 4 linked files in hidden layers. Perhaps these were creating problems for the printer. Not confirmed as I couldn't reach the person in charge yet. -

Finally! In the latest Beta 28.8.0.37 the Knife tool now works with Smart Guides.
Remember that holding Opt/Alt makes the Knife cut in straight lines.
Please test it and see if it works for you.

An error occurred while saving the comment Was a feature in Aldus Freehand acquired by Adobe. I'm code-illiterate, but perhaps they can copy-paste a few lines of code from Freehand.

I have an illustrator file of 300 individual price stickers for normal printing. Client also wants a Photoshop version. When there's a sudden price change for some of the stickers, they want to extract the affected ones to print on desktop printers as stop gap measure.
