The ability to adjust the width of a gradient line using the new Freeform Gradient Tool
The new Freeform Gradient Tool is great, except that it doesn't have an option to adjust the width of the gradient lines. I think there is no need to further explain why this should be useful, because it's such a basic feature.
To make it really powerful, adjusting the width should work like the Width Tool.

Yes, I did a quick sketch to visualise what I mean (see attached file). The Freeform Gradient Tool is simply incomplete (which, btw, is true for so many features e. g. the Transformation Effect—I miss the ability to set the reference point individually for twenty years now…)

You mean Spread, that is disabled for lines?
I assume you’d like to make the chosen value to apply to all point stops in a line, or rather for each one specifically?
