When I toggle panels by pressing tab, please do not move my view.
In Illustrator:
(Make sure to have some docked panels)
Press tab, have a look at your screen.
Press tab again, look at your screen again.
WHY DID IT MOVE? It's an expensive repaint, and costs performance on complex documents. Please don't do this :(

Totally agree with this request! It is currently jarring visual behaviour. Probably a simple fix, too.

This is very useful for laptop users. In small screens, its helpful to quickly hide all panels by pressing tab key. But the view should remain still.
The proposed improvement is the default behaviour in Figma and Sketch. I know they have different purposes from Illustrator but its great when apps have similar behaviour when it comes to panels and interface visibility.
