More usable Layers panel
Can we have the Layers panel open like Adobe XD (aids renaming and hiding/locking)?
I would appreciate if the panel could make it easier to name and select layers. For example, if I have an item in the artboard selected, I don't need to select the little blue dot (see attached photo) for it to register that it's actually selected on the artboard, especially if I'm selecting more than one item. I end up having to hold Shift to select the Layers in the panel, and then clicking again on EVERY blue icon to select the items on the artboard (e.g. for grouping purposes). If this can be changed, I would truly appreciate it — it really helps with renaming and grouping layers!

In the latest Beta release you can Shift+target (or Control to add a single item) several objects by their target marker ('blue dots'). So it would soon be released.
