PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE re-establish the the ability to drag over dimensions to change them!!!!
I've been dragging over the top of dimensions to change them for years, I'm speaking about artboards specifically. Now with the latest release of IL I have to triple click or place a curser and either backspace or select over the top with my keyboard. It's REALLY ANNOYING and disruptive to my workflow. I know it's a simple thing, but when you've been working a certain way for years a slight change like that can cause all sorts of mistakes in projects.

In the properties panel we are no longer able to drag to select the text in text fields. Very frustrating. This doesn't seem to be an issue in other text fields throughout the UI, mainly just the properties panel.

@Traci Ah, OK, it can be. I just hate this Modern New and never use it, just because of these things. Voted.

in the latest update, I am unable to drag to change dimensions here, I am on a windows machine as well.

You mean drag to select without setting a focus there first?
Hm, it works for me in 2021 in Windows.
