Make dimming of a template layer work also for vector images, not only rasters

If I make a new template in the layers panel and try to dim images to a lower opacity — it remains at the same opacity.

It's a vector image. You are right, it doesn't work for vectors. So, not a bug, a suggestion then. Thank you!

Kost, is this an image, an actual raster data?
The option works only for images and not vector artwork.
If this is just a black rectangle path, then it won’t be dimmed.
As far as I know — it never worked like you think it should.
