The feature is added in the latest builds of Illustrator. The development of it is not complete yet, and the team has more plans on making it better for users to help them with their creative projects.

Flaticon does not have a generative service yet, but Freepik has: https://www.freepik.com/ai/image-generator
The result is not vector, but vector-like.I believe the Illustrator team does not plan to supplant creators by doing their tasks for them, but rather plan to be a co-pilot.
However, thanks for the request — as far as I know it’s the first one of its kind. -

Yes something like recraft.ai but which can generates icons/vector like the one you can find on flaticon.com. I tried recraft.ai but I wasn't happy. You should be possible to add styles and colors directly in to the text.

Do you expect something like www.recraft.ai is able to generate, or something else?
How do you see this feature in Ai? How should one control the style? Assign preferred colors? Control proportions? Things like this — please describe your vision.
