New from Template... do not work any more

When choosing ”New from Template...” from ”File” -menu Illustrator 2024 do not open templates from ”Cool Extras” -folder as a default anymore.

It opens last folder where I visited last time, not ”Cool Extras” -folder as it should be. But I can live with that.

Which folder does it open then?
What happens if you navigate to the proper folder manually, open something form there, and then try to call the command again?
