Ability to create new fonts directly in Illustrator
I want to be able to make a usable font in illustrator without having to use FontForge or another similar non-Adobe application.

Illustrator is not a specialized font editor, and making it one will require a huge effort and a lot of votes.
However, there are existing solutions you can try. You might want to look at FontSelf extension, specifically designed for Ai and Ps: https://www.fontself.com/ -
Peter, there is a commercial extension you can use for this task — FontSelf (https://www.fontself.com).
However, building fonts is not something everyone wants to do, so having a specialized tool (and it is) built-in in Illustrator from the box might seem as an overkill for those users.

I wanted to request Adobe Illustrator to be able to create and export a font file on its own. I know illustrator can export file types for font creation. I would love to not have to jump to other software to finish making a font as well as be able to make the font automatically be added to my library for use in other Adobe Cloud apps or share/upload to Stock.
The reason I make this request is because I want to streamline the typography/font creation without struggling to export to other software. When I make fonts it's for use in game texturing or film. I have a lot of different needs that adobe CC fills, I would like to not hop to or pay for a third party tool when I made the font in Adobe CC Illustrator and will be using it in all other Adobe CC Apps. -

Urgent help needed. I need to upload my hand writing and create a regular foont from it. I also need to upload two words manually designed and to create a regular writing for a tattoo. Is there a specific function somewhere for this?? Thank you very much for help, I do not make graphic so often!
