Preview of the Artboard Sizing
If we could see what the sizing of the artboard would look like before we click the create button, because sometimes it's just easier to test there before starting an entire new document! :)

Agree. Illustrator lacks interactivity in General.
Many choices have to be made blindly, Preview option is missing — not only for this tool, but others: Rectangle, Ellipse, Line, Spirals, etc...
