Eyedropper tool to be added to Contextual Task Bar for any object
Eyedropper tool to be added to each object’s bottom tool bar. Why? So that you can sample a color from a picture or other object quickly.

Well, I think it can be merged with a general Allow to Add Custom Tool to the CTB: http://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/333657/suggestions/49235456
Would you mind me merging your request into it?As for now, I’d advise just hitting the 'I' key on the keyboard. Unless you are in the text (or edit a freeform gradient —that’s why they had to put it as a button in the Gradient panel), it will always pick the Eyedropper tool. Not forcing you, though, habits differ, it’s just my left hand is always on keys.

Yes if that is what that is called :) I just want a quick one step way to access the color pallet by sampling a photo or object instead of going all over to the side to click for the color and mess around.

Alan, I suppose by 'bottom tool bar' you mean the recently added Contextual Task Bar, correct?
